Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants, along with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract. CBD is the second most prevalent active ingredient in cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, a cousin of marijuana.

Although no claims can be maid about the specific benefits of CBG, many people report a sativa-like clear head high, and a slight boost in energy. CBG is touted as having many anti-inflammatory traits like CBD as well. In-house, we've experimented with the flower and definite can say that its the type of flower we're not afraid to smoke before a day of work - not very sedating or mind altering, nice flavor, and a mild relaxing head high that is manageable.
